Jesus did not come to oppress, to wield power, or to do much of anything the "institution" of religion would have had Him do. Through Jesus, God told a story contrary to anything else...a story of love.
The Christmas story is a narrative many of us are used to telling, however, when we usually tell it, we tell it from our own perspective. The best part of the Christmas story is that it isn't just for one group of people. The Christmas story--the story of the savior--is for both insiders and outsiders.
