The beginning of a new year is always full of newfound ambition. While it’s somewhat cliche to plan to hit the gym more THIS year, we can’t help ourselves but to set some physical training goals year after year. The problem is that getting in physical shape takes more than a few visits to the gym. It takes a longer term commitment and habit shifts that are greater than just trying harder or doing more. Training takes consistent effort in a well-rounded set of habits.
